Job Description

At our industry, we refine logs into timber. As an operator, you monitor and control machines that saw, sort, and process wood, ensuring that production runs smoothly and that quality is maintained at the right level. The job also includes adjusting settings, addressing minor faults, conducting inspections, and following safety procedures. It is a practical and technical job that requires precision, a sense of responsibility, and teamwork. As an operator in the production line, you will be part of a shift team. Your workday will be varied as rotation is applied, meaning you will work at several stations during a workday.

Bergkvist Siljan is intensively focused on Safety and Security. The work to prevent and avoid accidents is a natural part of all tasks throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Preferably a high school education or equivalent
• Driver's license (B)
• Forklift license and/or experience in forklift operation is an advantage

Bergkvist Siljan is a modern sawmill group in Dalarna. The group includes a raw material company and three sawmill units located in Insjön, Mora, and Blyberg. Our main owner is the Austrian sawmill group Meyr-Melnhof Holz.

We who work at Bergkvist Siljan are proud to utilize and refine the raw material from the forest.
